The path running from Belton Hill to Walker Lane, alongside Sharoe Brook is over-run with the invasive weed Himalayan Balsam. We are looking for volunteers to join us to try to get rid of it.

We are meeting by the railway bridge at the far side of the park tomorrow (Tues 9th June) at 7pm and again at the same time the week after (Tues 16th June 7pm). If you have an hour or so free and fancy a bit of exercise/chatter/as well as doing your bit for the general good of the community, why not come along?

We suggest a good strong pair of gloves, sensible footwear and wear something you don’t mind getting dirty.
