Major drainage works have already been done, including laying many metres of pipework which link into a new man-hole inspection chamber at the top of the existing main drain which runs alongside the railway line down towards the brook at the north end of the park.

The grounds-work team are currently installing foundations for soft-rubber surfacing under each bit of equipment, with tarmac paths linking up all areas which will connect with the existing tarmac path.

It’s a bit of a mess whilst works are on-going, so please take care in the area (and perhaps wear your wellies!!!)
