EVENT TO RUN TOMORROW (despite the weather forecast).  The ‘Friends of Conway Park’ would like to invite you to join them for a “FAMILY FUN DAY” to be held in Conway Park on Sunday 26th August 2018.  The day will start a bit earlier before the rain sets in from 11am and you can look forward to:-

• A Treasure Trail.
• A Picnic In The Park (perhaps a flask of soup might be in order!)
• A host of sporting activities for all the family to enjoy.
• Raffle prizes & much more.
• Don the wellies & rain-mac and let’s come together to enjoy this wonderful open space.  Here are some preliminary details…………………….

The Treasure trail will be around the Park and footpath area for all the family to enjoy.

Picnic In The Park – Bring your own picnic (and umbrellas) and enjoy outdoor eating with friends and family. Please feel free to bring ‘waterproof’ folding chairs and tables if you wish.  Some homemade cakes for sale and lots of goodies.  Ice creams will be on sale too.  Additional provisions for litter collection will be provided – please use them at the end of the day and help to keep the park tidy.  **please note no BBQ’s permitted for health & safety reasons.  .

Fun & Games – A whole variety of games and sports for children, families and friends will take place throughout the day.  Each of the events will have FOCP members or qualified supporters in attendance to ensure fair play and judging. The day is being run and organised by local volunteers.

Please come and support this event.  We’ve put a lot of work into organising it so even if you just come round for a quick half-hour when the clouds break we’d appreciate it.  If you would ever like to be involved with the committee, please speak to one us.
